what have you fellas used to block off the EGR port on the intake manifold when you remove the EGR system?
the headers came w/ a plate to block off the tube at the #2 primary, but im wondering about the other end at the manifold. thanks, CHIP

You can use a rubber freeze plug, but I cant remember the size. I'm sure someone will chime in.

Yea, when you unbolt the egr pipe from the manifold, you use the same bolt to hold the plug in...it's a little metal plate with a sort of o-ring on it, if I remember correctly.

I'm cheap, I used a piece of gasket material, and gasket maker (silicone). Total cost $0.00

Budhayes3....the part number you gave me was right. ordered it from the dealer today, $12 and change.

white1...i thought about making a piece, but i'd rather have something i wont have to worry about leaking. dont want to be bothered w/ a vaccum leak.

thanks fellas, CHIP
