EGR MOD GONE BAD!!!! need help

Default EGR MOD GONE BAD!!!! need help

well i just f'd up my egr mod and cut too much off and cut the pipe and now i have to way to fix it ......that i know of....please help... i need to go to work in the morn....and now i have a cut egr hose...what should i do?

If you have a way to plug the hole in the manifold you can just unplug the electrical connecter to the egr and it'll run fine, you'll just get a service engine light. At least that way you can drive it.

well the thing is.....i cut some off of it and well it looked like there was too much still in the Tb hole ... i thought it was supposed to be flush to the inside and well a little note to neone that will be doing this in the future ....ONLY CUT TO THE CREASE.... there should be a little hanging in the tb right?....right now i have some jb weld setting on it trying to do the trick where i have a way to get to work in the morn....ne more replies would be helpful...

I did the same thing to mine a while back. Fortunately a friend of mine had an extra one laying around.
You can use a expandable freeze plug(i think thats what its called). The size you will need is 1 3/8 but do a search to make sure on the size.
