Default EGR leak?

ok so i found my leak, my homemade block off plate didnt work too well, what can I do to block it off... the dealer wont sell me theirs cuz its not factory and they dont wana get in trouble. anyone?

i smell BS. go to the factory parts counter and give them a part number. tell them to kiss your *** and do their job if they say they wont sell it to you. they cant get in any trouble. maybe a little if they put it on themselves

or go the cheaper route and get a freeze plug like alot of the guys. a quick search will find you the right size plug

My friend I have found that brazing works extremely well.

i put the egr tube back in, folded the metal a bunch of times to crease it with a lil silicon inside it. that shud work i think

I went to my local dealer and said that I needed the block off plate for an 02 manifold...they ordered it up for me, no questions asked (I do know the parts manager though, but I don't think it would have made a difference.) I tried to find the invoice with the part number, but it seems to have disappeared I do remember that the part was somewhere around $15, and obiously looks totally factory.

i paid about $18 for mine, the guy said he was happy i found the part # bec he knew quite a few people would want it
