Default EGR Bypass?

I need some information on this one guys! What is the benefit of performing the EGR Valve deletion? Does this improve your power, torque or fuel milage or what is the Pros of this operation?

i did it because i dont like the idea of recirculating exhaust gasses into my intake. i feel better with a cleaner engine besides, its only a $12 mod unless you dont have a tuner yet
