EDIT
#2
I don't think even putting EDIT on a stock truck is a bad idea.
Change shift points, rev limit, high speed limiter, and the tuning of the motor to 93 octane, etc. on stock.
I actually just got my truck out of the shop having the tranny rebuilt. Under part throttle, it shifted way too hard for comfort.
My wife doesn't seem to enjoy it when it screeches the tires going 25mph in the 1-2 shift driving normally.
LS1 Edit will let you lessen the pressure under part throttle to make a more comfortable ride and smoother shifts during normal driving, then you can adjust it to hit hard like it should under near to full throttle for fast, hard shifts.
It also helps to tune your truck with LS1EDIT when you use nitrous.
MY EDIT program should be in by next Friday.
I'm gonna call MTI and schedule an appointment for tuning

Power wise, it was ok. Its biggest benefit was adjusting trans settings and shift points. Once you start doing other mods, it will be worth its weight in gold. Power was up, but it wasn't earth shattering.
