Default Edelbrock mufflers

Does anyone have Edelbrock mufflers on their truck? I have one on my '85 T/A and I love the way it sounds. I actually makes that little 305 sound like it has some power. It makes me wonder what it would sound like on an engine that actually does have power. Also, I noticed a big increase in power when I installed it and a new cat.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking about running true duels with turndowns.

I run the RPM serires on my truck too. I have the 3" in/out. It sounds pretty good, not quite as deep or loud as I might like it to be but hey. Like said before, it is very quiet at cruzing speeds, but I get some light interior drone around 1000-1500 RPMs. Other than that, I'm happy with it.

I ran a dual exhaust set up with the edelbrock RPM series mufflers with the single 3" in and out with full mandrel piping. It was kick *** in a 348 RWHP (SAE, Baby!) truck. As long as you stayed under 2800 rpms (most normal nice driving occurs in that range ) you are good to go. When you got on it it sounded like a race car. People would actually be looking toward me confused when I got on it. I think they were looking for the hot rod car that was "passing me"

I would not recommend dumping under the bed. It will drum and vibrate a lot. I had dual exits in front of my passenger side rear tire on a standard cab. It was great when I drove alone with the passenger window up. Summer time with both down was a bit annoying sometimes. Go rear exit if it matters to you!
