My 2002 Z71 has plenty of clearance everywhere.

I was thinking the same thing. Cause my buddy's 04 4x4 didn't have enough clearance for the front driveshaft either.

Yeah, that kinda sucks since they usually fit the 99-02's nicely, from all the feedback I've gotten/read.

not considering price... how do you think these compare to pacesetters?

What swayed me was the stainless steel, and the fact that I got headers AND a Y pipe.

In all honesty, when you can get a set of stainless headers, and a Y pipe shipped to your door, for the same price as equal quality Pacesetter painted headers only, you pretty much have to consider price, and there really is no comparison at that point, IMHO.

The OBX/ebay headers are 10x better heads than the Pacesetters.

Has anyone measured the ID of the 1 3/4" pacesetters? Or the 1 3/4" dynatech? I'm curious to see how those primaries stack up to these ones.

I havent seen anything from these guys for a 6.0 1500, but I just started looking. Does anyone know if they make them? I have seen the OBX kits for the silverado SS on ebay for just over $500 shipped, which still sounds like a pretty good deal to me. The one thing I did notice on the OBX ebay listing is they market them as a 1.5" primary which sounds WAY too small for the LQ9.
I plan on doing a cam swap in the future too, possibly a Vinci trucker or something similar, would these headers start to choke the motor at that point?

the only reason i got these for my Z was that they supposedly fit and b/c of the 1 5/8" primaries. the drivers side hump is retarded and you have to use a heat sheath cloth for 2 plug wires. if i had to do it again it would have went with the pacesetters but like i said, i wanted to run 1 5/8" primaries.

i used some conduit straps to hold my spark plug wires like shown in this thread, worked fine after i got them bolted down

With the LQ9 would I be better off with a 1 5/8" primary if I plan to keep it mostly stock, or does it really benefit from the 1 3/4? I dont want to buy a product thats not going to get me very far... even if it is only $500.
