Default e85 lq4

not sure if I posted this in the rite spot.... I'm finishing my lq4 and 4l80e swap in my 2003 rcsb S10 and just need exhaust and a tune but before I get a tune I need to find out what injectors I could use to run e85 at all times I live rite next to a station that has it so why not... is there a factory injector I could get away with? I really don't wanna spend a lot of money its a budget build... future mods are cam, stall and some spray I already have the cam just not ready for that quite yet its a 228/232 112lsa 600lift

Don't forget about the fuel pump aswell, E85 can require up to 30% more fuel.

But I'd think 40-50lb injectors for a NA motor.

And honestly I'd stay with 91+ pump gas for the mods you are doing, just makes life easier and a extra thing you don't have to buy. You'll also get way better gas mileage.

I know some trucks came withe the flex fuel so you will have no problem finding some injectors. As FFDP said you will need a good fuel pump.

Unles you raise compression substantially, install a turbo or blower there is no need for E85.
As stated it will reduce mpg considerably and require a fuel system far beyond what a "budget" build will ever need.

That said, i would still find some flex fuel injectors as your build will push the oem injectors on that LQ4 beyond their capabilities.
Might aswell aquire a complete nnbs flex fuel intake system to drop on that LQ4.
It will help alot in taking full advantage of that cam.

FF injectors and pump is what you need, on a budget.

On my .040 lq4, I run about 68-70% IDC on the stock 5.3 FF injectors.
