Stock pump and what injectors operating with what IDC? Possible? Yes. Safe? No.

I see some fan assemblies have varying number of blades between the two fans, and some have the same number of blades on each fan. Is one style preferred over the other?

Anyone have any input on how hard it is to do the 255 in tank on my truck? I want to do it but have no clue how hard it will be or where to start.

It's not too bad. Hardest part is removing the bed. You need a couple guys or a cherry picker. It's not too bad at all. 2hour job tops.

looks like for the NNBS the ones with 7/9 blades are for trucks that have the towing package from the factory. i'm guessing that they will provide better cooling with the more blades.

found some part numbers for the 7/9 blade 05+ efans

DORMAN Part # 620654
FOUR SEASONS Part # 76016

dorman was the best priced one i found. $163 shipped at amazon http://www.amazon.com/Dorman-620-654.../dp/B003QVJAMO

One more question... I asked if this was a direct swap and someone said yes. I should have asked if it's a direct swap for 99-02 which I think all had 28" radiators and a clutch fan?

The 34" radiator (AcDelco part # 21650) and 05+ fans are a direct swap. Im in the process of doing the same swap. I have the radiator, and im soon going to order the fans and nelson harness.

I talked to a tech on Dorman's website yesterday. Heres what i was told:

Dorman 620-652: 5/7 blade fans (05-07)
Dorman 620-653: 7/7 blade fans (07-10)
Dorman 620-654: 7/9 blade fans (10-13)

The 620-654 is definitely the cheapest and likely offers the best cooling, so thats what ill be going with. They all fit 99-13 with 34" radiator only.

I just picked up some 05+ fans, radiator! and harness to add when I do my lq4 swap. It appears pretty straight forward swap. Id do the 05 fans, appears more oem and can't go wrong with a bigger radiator.

Any good knockoff brands for the radiator? Or is ACDelco/OEM the way to go?

I'd personally just go oem. If you keep an eye out for people parting trucks you can get everything pretty cheap. I got my oem radiator, electric fans, oem harness, and all hoses and hardware for $120 off a wrecked truck.
