I read somewhere where you have to have atleast 3300 CFM?? Dont quote me on that though.

How is your A/C while you are idling? Better then the Clutch fan?

it goes 3000 for motor and 4000 with a/c. stock clutch fans can reach from what i remember in the 7-8000cfm at full rpm but less at lower.

It does look better. Just need some wire loom on the wire and would be good to go :imo

Thanks for the info!

Well im sure I would run both fans all the time unless its winter time.

Bonus to this would be having a heater quicker!

I saw were somebody just bolted the fans to the radiator, not sure if this would help or hurt CFM?

DUAL 14" INCH ELECTRIC FAN W/ THERMOSTAT SWITCH KIT 38 UNIVERSAL HOT ROD | eBay

Found this dual fan kit.

Says it pulls 4000CFM....Think that will be enough?

I would feel better with the 5050 though....guess I answered my own question

imo thats bad as the fans are only able to pull air from infront of them and the rest of the rad is just free flowing. it would be ok at speeds over 40mph or so as fans arnt needed then but when you standing still in trafic or school zones it could heat up. thats why making a shroud that covers the whole rad is highly recommended as the fans pull air across the whole rad not just in front of them.

i have that wiring kit that they provide and its been nice but with my ls1 fans i keep melting fuses, there not blowing but the casing on them melt. i changed over to auto reset circuit breakers last week and all seem to be going well. one thing to note is that set up is good for a 180º thermostat as it comes on at 180 and off at 170.

Yes something like that.

You have a point. Will probably do it like OP.

I wonder if I could cut slits or something in piece of medal he used and be able to maybe turn a fan or both off going over 40mph?

Thanks for the info on the kit. Will wait till OP has put some miles on his to see if the fans have a reasonable life span.
