how hard is it to install efans on a 04 silverado 5.3, and which one do I buy or can I use one from a later model gm truck.

if you search theres a ton of threads on it. i just did mine so just search my past thread and im using ls1 f body fans

I found the easiest way to get that clutchfan off is to wrap a towell around the pulley and use a small pipe wrench on the pulley then break it loose and your all good takes approx 30 sec

18 inch adjustable wrench and a fist maul took off the clutch fan for me.

I used a strap wrench on the pulley and a normal wrench (loaned from Autozone). Only downside was that when it finally loosened up the wrench slipped. Good thing my face caught it.

is there a place thats best recommended to buy some, i find a few on ls1tech, but damn they sell too fast, lol and when i have the moeny for them, i dont see them for sale!?

Someone always has a set lying around. There's also a website (can't remember the name) that lists vehicle parts for sale from various junk yards. Hopefully, someone will chime in and tell us the website.
