I am currently considering buying electric fans? Wonding if theres a diference if i just buy the fans off of a 05 and a aftermarket brand. As far as aftermarket brands any one have a prefferince? How much power can i really gain off just fans? If i later buy a ASP pulley kit how do i find a belt to fit with no fan?

For the '05 fans you will need a 34" radiator if you do not have one (5.3L comes with 27"). Flex-a-lite's are good, just you a Nelson harness (or equivalent) instead of their VSC.

Don't know. Haven't seen anyone post dyno comparisons for this. Wouldn't mind seeing some, though.

The ASP pulley kit has nothing to do with the fact if you have a fan or not.

I will be selling my 05 fans with the Nelson controller harness in the next few days. I can also include a 150 amp alternator with the longer serpentine belt if needed. Only 3,00 miles on all. I bought a new truck and putting the old truck back to stock.
