Well did you get it yet?

 

I'm wondering just how long it will take for the spring-loaded trap-door inside that muffler to start rattling, then fall apart.

I have been on the phone with Jegs and Dynomax 4 X and keep getting the run around...i ordered this thing back on the first part of April ...the right hand doesnt know what the left is doing ..there in production , they are out of production yad yada ....last I left it as of today is I am waiting to get a call from the Marketing department...I told them I would do a big right up on it on P.T if they would just ship me one...who knows trying to get the 3" of course ...

EDIT: That's b/s that they are giving you the run-around, Jeg's lists it as "Ships today." I would be pissed. Keep us posted when you get that thing in.

Theres a few vids on youtube of them. One on a NNBS V-max and one on a titan and it sounds good on the titan. Like on the V-Max, think it was muffler only no tails tho.

 

I just sampled the sound clips as well. Sounds a little too loud for my liking. Keep in mind that revving at idle on the Vmax probably wasn't enough "pressure" to pop the little flapper doors open on the inside for the straight through sound. It'd be better experienced I'm sure while driving down the road.

 

This is interesting I am in the market for a muffler change but the trap door thing has me concerned. Waiting for a write up.

 

I got a call back from marketing and they have made 18 of the 3" ,I also sent them an email about PT and this link HEHEH), I noticed that the vortech was runnining cats and the dual set up ....Iam only interested in the 3" set up ...I really am adjusting to my aerochamber has a great sound ...I may still pick one of these up,,,i also heard a rattle on both trucks I wonder if thats the valve opnening/ closing SUrley NOT ..?
