the truck sounds really nice minus the weird sound every single time I start the motor, even if it stops for 10minutes, it will do the weird metal to metal contact sound again.

Ive had a VT on my truck for over a year now. On cold starts I hear the clang noise but goes away quickly. However I love the muffler for its low drone. A valve in a muffler is going to make noise. Not a big deal to me for what its design to do and it works.

so i heard back from Dynomax, and we will never know if this is one of the old mufflers since I threw off the box...

Asked about Dynomax replacing the old design mufflers at no cost, and they COMPLETELY dodged that question...

Then I was told this muffler is not designed to be used on a dual exhaust application, which I knew of, except the Dynomax rep on pt.net told me they use the exact muffler I have (by part number) on dual truck exhaust applications.
