Default Dynoed the Silverado today at Thunders Dyno Day

289 rwhp / 317 rwtq
What was funny was, it dynoed higher then a couple of the mustangs that dynoed today. <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />

The truck is a 2002 Silverado LT 2500 EC SB 4x4 6.0L w/3.73's.
Mods are:
AS&M LT's, 3" ORP, Flowmaster muffler,
K&N FIPK, ASP pulley, Superchips programmer, 180* T-stat, Accel plug wires, Ported TB,
TB by-pass mod, MAF screen mod, EGR mod.

Best ET so far is:
15.74 @ 90.19 mph 2.370 60' +3600 DA

Anybody know what my truck weighs? I think it's around 5200lbs, does that sound about right?
It's not a HD 2500 BTW.

Gordon

"The truck is a 2002 Silverado LT 2500 EC SWB 4x4 6.0L w/3.73's."

do you mean SB(short box), i think SWB means short wheel base(reg cab short box), i think you are heavier than 5200. seems like big tex said he was around 5200 and that is a 1/2 ton non LT no driver or hitch. seems like you ar runing some prety good times with that thing!

Silverado 2500 (3/4-ton) 4x4 LT
8600 GVWR (4x4) 3076 Payload....

So 8600-3076=5524 lbs

Very cool Gordon! I think its time to add the supercharger <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I thought you had an F250 Powerstroke? Any opinions/comparisons to your current truck? I still like those F250s too.

Yeah Tony, I used to have a PowerStroke but I got tired of the cackle cackle of the diesel motor, and the suspension of it was like a damn school bus, so I traded it in for the Silverado.
The powerstroke is definetly a better tow vehicle with all that torque, but you know..... it just didn't look right towing the SS on the trailer with a Ford! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
Now it looks much better towing the SS with Silverado. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
The 2500 tows just fine, it's pleanty enough truck to haul the SS around with.
