Question Dyno #'s with aftermarket heads

Is there anybody or a company that has any dyno numbers on the 5.3L(LM7) with aftermarket heads for an N/A engine??? I can't find anyone or any company with any dyno #'s!!! Say for instance, I was in the market for some heads, and I went to AFR's web site and found some heads for my truck, how come none of these company's dyno their product for the truck(that's what they're advertising for) but only for the cars? I mean if the company is advertising all LS1 & (GENIII4.8, 5.3, 6.0) aftermarket cylinder heads none have any dyno sheets for the trucks. Can anybody help me with this or shed some light on the subject??? I don't know....I maybe wayoff!!

I couldn't find any data either so I just went for it.

Even with my converter being jacked we simply locked it and came up with 345rwhp on the 5.3L at an est. 10.9 CR, GTP stage2 heads through a 4L80E 4x4 setup. Not too shabby. This was on a Dynapac dyno. I'll redyno and tune after the new converter is in and see if that helps.

Sweet!!!! What or in your honest opinion, what do you think about the stage II heads that Gunnar was advertising for Patriot (Patriot 5.3 Stage II Heads now $1,095 Assembled)? Do you think that thses would benefit me any with a cam to match?? I know you can't just get heads and install them and make a sh*t load of power, you have to do both (or it's best to do both if you want to maximum effort out of both).I know this is a loaded question and prolly hard to answer. So take your time. I'll be here all night.

I honestly don't know about those heads. I have been so out of the heads/cam market for so long I am useless. I overheard a few of the guy in my car club talking about them and there are definately mixed feelings about Patriot heads..

For the money spent on heads you might be better off just finding a good solid used 6.0L motor and doing a cam swap during the conversion. For the price of a good set of heads you can almost have a new motor. LOL

I only did the heads/cam thing on this truck because I already owned the heads form my T/A and the going rate for used heads made me sick after spending so much money on them so they were put back to use. Otherwise i would have just done the 6.0L swap.

Well I would go 6.0 with all of the goodies but my truck only has 18,410 mi on it. So I guess I'm SOL on some heads until some of these manufactures post up some dyno results of their product. I just don't understand....if these manufactures want us to buy these heads or their products, then why don't they try a little harder to sell us (gear heads) on their performance products! It only makes sense!!! Maybe I'm wrong.....
