Default Dynatech system w/corsa catback??

Would it be better to run a dynatech supermaxx system with a corsa catback exhaust, or a dynatech supermaxx system with a custom magnaflow true dual system???

any opinions or sound clips??

cory

Closet Red Neck has the supermaxx system and a corsa sport system on his truck and it sounds good. I have the dynatech headers with a custom y-pipe no cats and a corsa sport and it is ALOT louder then his. What other mods do you have? If it was me I would run teh supermaxx system and the corsa sport since your exhaust will be all stainless sound good and never have to worry about rust.

Thumbs up Exhaust combo

I love the sound of my truck with Dynatech LT's and a Corsa sport. It will be louder with no cats on them for sure. I haven't heard the Dynatech's with a Magna-Flow but am sure you can't go wrong with either. The Magna-Flow will be a lot cheaper to purchase and I'm told the quality is just as good as the Corsa. The exhaust sound level did increase noticeably following the cam swap.

I've got the Dynomaxx system running true dual into a dual-in dual-out magnaflow muffler (model 12468 I think, the one whose body is 18" long), then dual out the rear. Nice deep rumble, plenty loud when you want it.
Highway speeds you barely hear it; a little louder in-cab than I expected at lower speeds, but not annoying.
I don't have a separate x-pipe in the system, since the magnaflow muffler is one of a 'tru-x' design; I get no popping at all upon decelleration. But true dual all the way...except the crossover inside the muffler.
All in all, happy with the setup and sound. Truck will get tuned after a couple more mods.
(sorry, no pics or soundl clips yet)
