Default Dynatech ORY for 2002 2500HD?

does the ORY for the dynatech supermaxx headers fit on a 2002 2500HD? I can't find the answer anywhere. I purchased the headers alone. W2W can/will make me a Y pipe but that's a ton of labor. If the Y dynatech sells will fit i'd rather just buy that.

Also, i'm in need of an exhaust system. Any ideas? CCSB the 4" duramax exhaust is gonna be way too loud now that the turbo is gone.

The y will work for your truck, you will have to run a half ton cat back type setup. The 6.0 system stays split to mate up to a 6.0 catback setup. I would run a corsa catback I love both of my systems. I had one on my gas motor and I have one on my dmax now and both are awesome, great quality and sound. My buddy who posts as closet red neck on here has teh dynatech ORY its nice and IMO worth the money even though it is a bit pricey.

so wait, if i get the ORY i'll need to use a cat back for a 1500? i don't get it.

for example, mine is a CC SB, what would I order for a cat back? I don't know about spending a grand for a cat-back. Magnaflow is $500.

i'm looking at this part dynatech 115-841350C

it's different than the ORY for the 5.3

I didnt know they made an ORY for 6.0s. The 5.3s have a single flange at the end of the Ypipe where it mates to the cat back unlike the 6.0 systems which stays split till the muffler. You can find a corsa system for a little over 600 if you shop around. I got mine for 600 shipped, now my dmax system turbo back was almost twice that much.

yep, go with dynatech 6.0 y-pipe, it will fit the headers and any 6.0 cat back,
just find the best deal for a cat back.

the reason i asked is because i called a dynatech dealer a few years ago because i never saw a header kit that said it fits a 2002 HD. the dealer called dynatech and was told the ORY won't work because of my transmission crossmember or something like that.

does that make sense? anyone know the answer?
