I would love to do that to my truck instead of building a gas motor. Does anyone know if any suspension mods would have to be done? I'm sure the motor mounts are all different, so some fabricating would be required right? Also, thats a OBS, any body ever do it to a NBS?

Yes, but only once in the back seat.

Seriously, that's a great idea. I've dreamed about this for years. An AWD RCSB 1/2 diesel. Call me crazy, but I've even thought about putting a Duramax or Cummins diesel in my car. It'd be an easy way to get 1200ft-lbs.
There's got to be A LOT of fab work involved. You can pretty much throw away your tranny and diff too. I don't think our 10bolt would like that much torque.
I would think the fuel system would have to be totally converted too, as well as a lot of electronics. I say do it man!

But, either way, I know I'm gunna need a tranny swap, cause mine sure as hell ain't gunna last the way I drive
