I don't know of any 110 R+M Octane fuel that's unleaded. You're running leaded fuel in it?

We have it here, unleaded, $5.50/gal. Most of the time I use 101 octane @ $4.99/gal. because it's closer.

Detonation (or uncontrolled explosion) happens 20* after the plug fires from rapid pressure rise and extreme temperatures. High octane will not stop it if fuel is lean (what usually happens on our rear cylinders) timing is excessive or too much nitrous for a given setup.

what he said ^^^ race gas will help detonation but not if you are lean or have too much timing. switching to race gas often causes you to go lean depending on the fuel. you need to pick a fuel and stick with it and you need to check your tune with that fuel. it is also good to keep the same aproxamate mix of fuels if you are mixing pump gas and race.

how about tune it for the 91/93 that is available at the pump and quit worrying about it. You never know what you are getting at the race gas pump.

yes like i stated before i have never seen it happen in a ls6 intake but happened atleast 5 times on the #7 on my truck intake. add a lil more fuel to your n20 tune and i think you will be alright.
