Im waiting for my Tune to come from Black Bear, however in the meantime Im wondering if it will be safe to start my truck, just for idling and checking for leaks purpose since the swap.

I wanna be able to start the truck, run the fluids, check for leaks etc, not driving it more than one bay to the next.

Does everyone think its safe to run that in the meantime?

yeah you'll be fine we started my buddys heads cam 5.3 on his stock tune only problem was it didnt idle worth a **** .
