Hey so what did you figure out?

I'm trying to install my 8.1 marine truck injectors into my Fast LSX-R (not truck, if that matters) and they just won't go all the way into the lower hole. Seems the plastic piece on the injector is too large to fit into the bore in the lower intake shell... and my o-rings are too small, but that isn't my main worry.
Any help?

Yes they work. They just don't go in as far as you would think. Replace the orings and push in as far as they will go.

you need the kit from comp for the fuel rails also.

Well what's ironic is that the setup I have is all due to it being recommended direct from FAST/Comp Cams!
I was told what to buy to be able to hook up fueling to my LSX-R swap with my truck injectors. He said no extra fit kit was needed for the truck injectors with the 14021 rail kit. Then I just purchased direct the fuel rail and some other gaskets.
Damnit. Again, burned by Comp. Don't even get me started on my 918 springs and lost motor...

Anyway, I'll be contacting FIC in the morning for some spacers that I hope will solve the issue. Sucks as I only have about 4-5mm of extra play, but then I'll have to ad a 1/2" injector spacer, then make some ~8mm spacers to hold up the fuel rail to take up the extra space.
Oh well, as long as it functions!
And do not want those FAST spacers as they go under the injector and probably effect the spray pattern just shooting the walls of the bore they're recessed up in.

as stated, you need the FAST orings to work with the stock injectors.

This pic shows a stock oring size on the right, and the FAST size on the left.

Here is what I'm dealing with. And yes, I have proper fitting lower o-rings installed.

Truck injector height:

So when I tighten down the fuel rail and it bottoms out on the LSX-R intake, there is still 4-5mm of up and down play where the injector doesn't seat all the way.
Seems the LSX-RT fuel rail fitment has accounted for slightly shorter truck height injectors.
