The pistons he has now are fine, and he has no plans of nitrous or boost, so stock parts will suffice.

What are the cheapest 4.030" pistons just in case the block has to be bored?

Those are dish...what kinda heads will he run? May want the extra compression of a flat top.....or then again my need dish to lower.....

I will get you guys some links to flat top&dish 4.030 pistons.Although if you call summit Atomic i believe they have diffrent bore sizes availible like the 4.000 i listed.[/U]

Tell cole its broke and he needs a new crank and pistons to make it a 408 or it won't run lol

 

Thats about as cheep as it gets for pistons....280 bucks and the cost of having them installed on the rods.

that's gonna run him about 500 bones though...plus 50 bucks a hole for poke and hone.

so a grand later he has a bottom end...

Or pick up a good block for under 300 and have it honed tanked and inspected for around 250 bucks.
