Does cutting your exhaust really make more power

I have a magnaflow dual in single out. can i get more power and quicker times by removing it completely

I have NO muffler. I lost some bottom end but pick it back up on top. The nitrous LOVE the open exhaust and its not to loud. It costs you nothing to pull it off and test it out

I noticed a huge drop in low end when I pulled mine off and just ran the open y pipe. Don't know about up top cause I couldn't find anywhere to test it out.

i personally think it's a trade off. you lose bottom end but pick up on the top.

not trying to hi-jack this thread but,
what will happen if I cut the cats out and leave the muffler in??? will I loose bottom end as well???

that is what i did and i think you might lose a tad but not much.
