I have a 07 tahoe and was wondering what kind of MPG u guys R getting.
I get about 16 city,,17 highway

and was wanting to get a CAI

what CAI intake do you have and what kind of MPG are u running with it

 

parents have one and say they are getting ~17 in city. not sure on highway.

 

what engine/drive do you have? 17 highway seems low.

 

those things don't need a CAI the oem is fine... I gotta buddy who owns his own shop and he has one he put a k&n on it and dynoed it and it lost HP.... he did say he got BS mileage though it's 5.3 but the thing is it has that 4 cyc crap he said thats the cause of the poor gas mileage...

I just couldnt see a CAI not helping sence the intake is no different that the past 8yrs the LS series engine has been int the trrucks
