Its my understanding that the transmission mounts for the trucks and the F-bodies are the same . That could be the sours of some of the confusion.

Well I still have not found any for the truck if anyone does post up please. We are going to keep searching.

speedisss the reason he is wanting them is his engine torques over real bad when the turbos spool up. He is hopeing poly mounts will help stop the engine moveing so much.

i'm not sure where you can buy them at. i was just wondering if they would make the truck shake like hell rather then the motor. the reason i ask this is because my buddy had poly motor mounts on his eclipse and the whole car shook untill he got to like 3000rpms then is started smoothing out. im not talking a little shake either it would shake like hell.

Here's the deal ... I want them cause of the same reason 30 does. Only bad part about it is, mine has instant torque, and gobs of it. When it torques like that, there's something that is banging the **** out of the frame and tripping the knock sensors. That will absolutely KILL a run.

I am bringing this thread back to the top as I am curious as to if anyone has gotten any info on these in the last 8 months. I will hopefully be dropping my new motor in soon and figured it would be good to replace teh 120K mile mounts that are in there. Wanted to make sure there wernt any polys available before I got new GM rubbers.

I've looked into this and have come up with what others have said, I looked at a stock F-body mount and a stock 4.8/5.3/6.0 mount and they look nothing alike. Will they still bolt up and work, i couldn't tell you, but in their stock form they are not ever similar unless you count the factthey both hold the engine to the frame.
