Default Does Any Body have suggestions for HPP3

Hey, i am new on this board and I was just wondering if anybody has any suggestions for the settings on a Power Programmer 3. I have a 2002 GMC 5.3 Z71 w/ cold air induction. I am looking mainly for suggestions on the shift points. Hypertech suggested +3 on the 1-2 shift, +6 on the 2-3 shift and +8 on the 3-4 (which most people don't reach). Go +300 rpm on the rev limiter. I am pretty happy with this but I was just wondering if anybody was having luck with any other settings? Thanks for any of the info thay you can give.

you would like the hypertech alot more if u went to 6200rpm rev limit, then went to +4 or +5 depending on if u hit the rev limiter (1-2 shift), then +12 on the 2-3 shift, then i just leave 3-4 alone since it isnt used in racing for us. i used to have mine set at +3, +5 and then when i went to +4/+12 it was amazing all the extra power up there. try it out <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
