i wouldnt expect that for sure. so what is done to it? and how much is he spinning? those tires might work out for him since we al know D-max's dont rev for ****

to go from a high 12 to a high 11 with just traction is a big improvment

How is a shorter tire going to help him? He needs some serious traction aid just due to the TQ that will put out. What model dmax? LBZ dont rev that bad. Spinning, 3.73's and tall tire with all that torque should help. Lowering the gear ratio with a smaller tire isonly going to hurt his traction.

Yea but with 600rwhp and 1200rwtq it tends to spin down the track.

he has had some luck with 28" tall hoosiers
these big *** 33" tires HOOK off the line but the rim is spinning inside the tire when he hits some boost. He tried a 29" tire today, ill have to call him to see how it did!

Dont they have a progressive boost controller that he can use for his truck?

the d-max ran 11.60 @ 118 last night, come to find out he broke the eaton at the track the other night, thats why it was spinning so bad.

he is headed up to some diesel showdown at indy next week so if any of you go be sure to look for it.

Well the truck went to the Indiana Diesel Nationals, Yancy the owner of the truck said it was unbelievable on how much attention the truck received, The owner of the worlds fastest diesel (Dakota) saw the truck and wanted to buy it from Yancy because his son liked the truck! A shop from CA, the shop that swapped in the Duramax on Pimp my ride asked Yancy howcome he has the stock turbo etc. still on the truck. Yancy told him it was because of the price of the upgrades. The guy from CA told Yancy that he would sponsor the truck in exchange of Yancy putting his companys logo on the back of the glass. The truck will be seen in Diesel World Magazine in two months!

Yancy at the moment is unsure if he is going to sell the truck now or keep it and get all the sponsorships, he really wants to sell it and build a RCSB 4WD just like it for improved traction.
