I stay nervous. I dropped a timing cover bolt in mine Still plan to get it out, but when I changed the oil it was attatched to the plug, just wouldnt fit throught the hole. I seriously doubt it will make it past the windage tray into the motor, but still nervoul

It may. If it were my truck and it did not come out when I drained the oil, I would drop the pan just to be safe.

So you still run it with the bolt in there?

I drained the oil and it did not come out or get on the drain plug. The oil only had 1000 miles on it and I seen some blue little shavings in there. I was told it wouldnt make it up the motor so I am gonna give it another couple hundred miles and change the oil again.
