02 sierra , was looking at some headers , how do i know if i have egr or air injection? they have non egr and non air injection and vis versa.

 

All 02 and up do not have EGR. To verify this, look on your passenger exhaust manifold and see if there is a tube wrapped in a black "sheath" going into the intake manifold behind the throttle body. If there is no tube, then you do not have to worry about EGR.

I may have this confused with air injection, someone else may want to comment. But for sure 02s do not have it. Hope this helps any.

If I buy a 04 Z71 with 5.3 and maryland emissions will I have any of that stuff?
