I went from a 10.2 to a 9.9 by just taking off the flowmaster and running stock open y pipe at the 1/8 mile. Even on the street it felt better. Good choice by ditching the slowmaster

I liked the looks of those and bought them along with a stainless Magnaflow x-pipe...I had planned to do a true dual exhaust and put the "x" in place of the "y", ditch the 3" catback, then have 2.5" duals into the Mag 14" long 4" round muffs that you linked to, then dump it somewhere (either before or after the axle). Unfortunately I'm hard up for cash right now and just sold the mufflers and x-pipe a few days ago...too bad you didn't start this thread at the beginning of the week or you might have gotten yourself a good deal

They're straight through mufflers with small round bodies, I bet that they'll sound good no matter how you dump them or run the tail pipes. If you dump them before the axle, and don't have cats, I'm thinking that they'll definitely wake up the neighbors

obx/ebays with their ory and a 4x9x14. the rattle at the end is where my exhaust dumps over the axle hitting the hitch

I am running Magnaflow Magnapacks on my truck. Sounds good. But I do need a mid pipe of sorts as the previous owner cut the stock y pipe out and made true duals. YUCK. I cut the flowcrappers off and put magnaflows on it. Sounds ALOT better IMO
