Default Dipstick problem!

Hey guys, I have a problem with my oil dipstick on my 6.0l. I was told that 6 quarts of oil is what it takes, so I did that and nothing on the dipstick. The dipstick in there is the same length as my 4.3 was. I think someone put the wrong stick in, or it takes more oil than autozone said. Could someone measure thier oil dipstick and let me know how long it's supposed to be? Thanks.
