Deleted Cats, how bad is the smell?

I had a buddy that tried that same thing with 5 gallons of Cam2 race fuel.

Whats Cam2?

This was unleaded 104oct that i used.

Cam2 racing Octane....burn really f'n hot. Close to jet fuel.

If you get a tune and they lean it out a little you wont have any problems. These things are rich from the factory for towing. Its conservative.

Well, I've grown tired of the odor after driving my K5 for a couple of years. Roll down the back window and the two fronts, it creates sometipe of vortex and you are instantly consumed with the smell. I get high every time I drive that thing.... and smell like a muffler for hours. I guess I'll just go hi flows on this truck.

catless exhaust smell is extreme once the engine is in closed loop. open loop isn't so bad. tuning will help, but not eliminate it. i was ok with mine for a while, but once i get my trans issues sorted, tuning & new exhaust (w/ cats & cutout) will be done.

So you get high every morning pretty much for free.......and whats the problem exactly?
