I called Summit and talked to the tech line for a few and we decided that the tranny is about to go. Its a 4l60E and its slipping at about 65-70 at WOT(havent tried less then WOT). I hear yall talking about the Yank? converter .
1.What is it good for and which one should I get for a daily driver with a 75 shot and original 3.42 gears( maybe soon to be 3.73 posi)
2.what do you suggest for a rebuild kit?
3.and I think I should get the corvette servo what do you think?

 

how did you and summit decide that the trans is about to let go? and as long as you still retain the factory pcm programing different solenoids will not affect performance

 

just by telling them what i typed here. I think its ready anyway cuz I got 130,000 on it, and a few have been kinda hard since I got it

 

have you tried talking to your dealer about a reflash that may cure a 2-3 upshift lag or long shift?

 

its in a 94 blazer S-10 without a flashable prom. Its all hard programmed with a chip
