Default Decide what headers brand to go with

hey

I am in middle of two choices for headers brand. Kooks vs local brand called "bullet". if i would rank bullet i would say it will come after ARH in 3rd place, Kooks 1st ARH 2nd and bullet 3rd.
what my question is do i buy extra $200-$400 for shipping to my area or just get it from bullet. it will connect to x pipe
what the gains going with kooks be.

my build will by 450whp at max. LQ9 H/C/I with 4l80 RWD.
i use the truck every day so 10ft-lbs down low will worth 5hp above 5500rpm

*from bullet the headers will cost $1380 for pair.
it's 1-3/4 what am going with

First, get 1 7/8", plenty of dyno runs out there to support them over 1 3/4"

No idea who bullet is and why you' rank them 3rd? Sounds arbitrary.

Why not speed engineering?

in my area bullet is very good brand. i know it's not know outside the middle east but they have very good quality to their product. bulletperf.com/en/ check for yourself. 1 7/8 for truck, i don't see where the gain. what i can find is having maby 10hp up top and lose 15ft-lbs down low.
speed engineering i don't think they are good. correct me if am wrong

1 7/8 Texas speed all day long. I used to run stainless works headers and Texas Speed is every bit as good in build quality.

why the 7/8. What is your power? Did you compare the two with your setup or previous one? Correct me if am worng but my search says even people with +500whp the 3/4 did better across the rpm

anything 5.7 CI or larger could use 1 7/8 headers.

Ive tested a heads cam 5.3 with Speed Engineering 2" Primary headers and it picked up power over the 1-3/4 he had on the truck. Its got a 4000 converter and 4.56s with 29" tire so it never sees low rpms.
