Question Debating on Transmission

I just bought a slightly used Yank TT3000 (thanks Gear M Up! ) and I'm debating on what to do next. Should I get a servo and shift kit and install it on my stock tranny, or just go ahead and invest in a FLP tranny?

My stock transmission has 62K miles on it but doesn't show any signs of slipping.....yet. I'm kinda leaning towards getting a level IV tranny, slapping the TC up to it, and calling it a day so I'm not tearing into it again 2 months down the road. Of course, being the cheap bastard I am, I hate to spend money now when I can procrastinate.

Which would you do? Also, would you get a Level IV or V?

if it was me would just start saving my money for the new trans and put the stall and shift kit in the truck. 62,000 doesnt seem that bad on miles thats when started firming up my shifting with a hpp3 i now have a super servo (8,000miles) and a shift kit and trailblazer stall(1,500miles) not problems with the trans yet. and i dont really drive it that nicely. i think you will be fine IMO.

how far are you going with your truck? my $.02 is if your done moding RIGHT NOW then just try the stall, shift kit and survo. if you plan on pushing it any farther then gofor the flp tranny.
