Default Dear Cali guys!! LT's for you!!!

I didnt know if alot fo you guys were aware, but.... There is a CARB legal long tube for you guys that is styled exactlly like the TOG's. Dougs Headers makes the D3353-3 headers that are CARB legal!! Heres the info to show ya: http://arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/de...eo/D-57-19.pdf

Summit Racing does list them as a shorty but they are not!!

How can they be carb legal when you have to move the cats? Whenever you modify the cat's in anyway it's not CARB legal, well at least not visually. Not that you'd even want to keep the cat's with LT's, but you'll need to find a "friendly" smog person.

I think that's why they're midlenths so you can put the cats right after the headers and the cat location doesn't change.

EDIT- I own a truck from Cali so I know a little bit about emissions. I was lucky enough to rip all the AIR **** out when we did my cam install though

You dont have to touch the cats man. Gotta cut off part of the Y right in front of the cats.
