Why would you even use a Torx bit when you can use a socket? Just wondering! I have never had any luck with Torx bits. I never understood why people use an open box wrench when they can use a socket either. Just does not make sense to me. Not trying to put any one down, I just don't understand why someone would do it the hard way.

can't use a socket when the bolt head is round
might have to weld on another nut and try to get them off or cut that **** off
which i'm willing to do

Try a Torx bit. I was able to get two off using it.. Iit took me a dremmel tool and a few hours for the last one.
