Question Cutout's on my SS??

I don't really want to do exhaust on my SS cause i am pretty content with the sound and whatnot, but i was wonderin, if i would get any meaning ful gains if i put a set of electric cutouts so i could have straightpipes whenever i go to the track or somebody wants to race i can open them up and give them an earfull? I know i would loose low end torque but i don't think that would be a factor since i will have the whipple on it??

I definately loose some low end grunt when I open them up, but it seems like I gain a little on the high end. It also makes the truck SCREAM at wot.
