Default Cutout

I was wondering how many people have cutout in there intermediate pipe before the muffler with cats. How much louder will it be? Also will it knock off on et at the strip?

i used to have mine like that. it was pretty loud but not too bad. seemed like it would take a little bit off but to get it all I went long tubes !cats. might as well do it for $25 plus cutting/welding. sounds good

Pretty gosh darned loud I'd say! It is badass driving around on occasion with the exhaust open like that, but after an hour or two, you just want to shut it up again. Stock exhaust never sounds very good until you evade cops at midnight, sounding like a stock car at anything over 1K RPM....lol, good times. I like the rumble of the open exhaust, but the rasp and lack of tone quality really kills it for me. It does make you feel like a badass at the track!
