'Customized' Holley intake, Whipple etc...

This will go on the 383 which will go in the Burb. It'll be the original motor (stroked) which I dropped a rod bearing in a few years back (had 83,000km's on it). Luckily, the crank was the only thing destroyed.

Well...plan is to remove an inch or more off the throttle body mounting area. Atleast down as far as the bottom of the IAT bung area.
This will give me more room to fit the elbow/fitting on there coming out of the intercooler.
Ideally...I'd like to machine it down to the point that it's flush with the runners. Depends on how much 'meat' will be left.


Not much good with Photoshop....but this is the idea.

Also....not happy with the slack fit in the dizzy hole so I'm going to sleeve it.

Anyone else using one of these....or can think of any issues with my plans?
