Default custom Y pipe with cats

how much should i expect a shop to charge me to make a custom Y pipe with cats (just some cheap cats) to bolt up to some pacesetter LT's? The good exhaust shop around here closed its doors so i must find somewhere else and i don't wanna get shafted.

Oh, and will "cheap $$" cat's be a bad decision? what i mean is will they flow worse than the stock ones or cause a loss in performance?

I'd make sure they're using prebent piping.

most pre-bent pipe is mandrel bent, whereas in house pipe is press-bent which crimps down the pipe and reduces flow. unless they have a mandrel bender...

is this something i can do easily by getting some pre bent piping and using band clamps and piece together? I know a guy who can weld some cats on if needed

No luck with those band clamps here, they're a PITA!!! Replaced with Ball & Socket.

You can do it with pre bent mandrel 45-90's. Band clamps work fine if the pipes are a good fit, or accusealband clamps V band clamps work well too... I am using T clamps and 100% leak free.. Cut 3 slots in the ends of the Y pipe to slide over the collectors, you should be good to go

im thinking. If i make my own or have one done, the rear o2 sensors will be gone but im going to run 2 cats. I know you tune out the cats but im guessing the same goes for the rear o2 sensors
