Default custom exhaust

if i cut behind the awful cats. ran duals into a x-pipe into a 2 in and 2 out magnaflow would i gain or loose flow ? would emissions still be acceptable ?:

I did it to mine using a cherrybomb vortex series muffler. I regained my lost power band and got some mileage back to boot. Granted I had a different aftermarket exhaust system on my that was worthless.

The complete truck runs better now.

Basically how I have mine, but with Borlas. Mine is 3" reduced to 2 1/2" behind the X.

right now i gotta flow master cat back into duals,cai,p an p throttle bodie,black bear tune and amsoil products everywhere.do'es ok for ah 4.8.
