Default Crankshaft rear plug

I was wanting to know about the crankshaft rear plug. I have a 408 with a eagle crank and was reading that you need a plug for the rear. Can i get a plug from the dealership and how hard is it to install.

no i had a small leak from my eagle crank also . the plug is a freeze plug i forgot the size but they can be found if you look around at machine shops. the stock cranks are not hollow like the forged ones. you could always seal it up with some jb weld though. did yours not come with one at all?
