Cranking torsions on a 01' Z71

This is is what I plan on doing. Rancho add a leafs in rear. Rancho part #RS60645. Good for about 1-1 1/2 inch and Ford Keys up front to level. Ford part #XL3Z5B328CA. Then an alignment and some 285/75/16 Super Swaper Trxus. Between tires and suspension should raise it about 2 1/2 inches.

The Ford keys let you crank more. They are shaped different so they lift it more with less cranking. They also get you more lift then you can get out of the stock keys. Check out this link for more info. http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/s...threadid=65871

I know what they are......but you can only crank so far before the CV's are at extreme angles. You can crank more, but you still end up with the end result. Use keys and leave your bolts out or crank the bolts in and STILL get the same lift. Just because your bolts are out farther, dont mean anything. You are still loading up the bars with the same amount of force. I can see where they ar useful if your bars are very light wieght or sagging. But, if your bars are good or you have HD bars, you have no use for them. JMO.

Yeah I would not try to get more the 1 1/2 to 2 inches over stock. I have my stock keys almost maxed out and got about 3/4 inch. So I figure I can put ford keys on and get another inch. Just want to be able to fit 285/75/16 without any rubbing and make the truck look more like a 4x4.
