Stock rockers....YES, stock pushrods...NO NO NO

The stock pushrods are only just barely adequate for the stock springs....you upgrade those and your GONNA bend a rod !!!

here's your answer. no Crane does not own Vinci. they have been working together since the 60s in developing products. Crane does grind Vinci's cams to Vinci's specs. Vinci is a main R&D partner for Crane. right now Vinci has a C6 vette they are going to be using to develop cams and other valvetrain components with. most stuff already works. the main thing is the relocation of the cam sensor.

as far as springs go, i believe whoever cam you use, use their springs. it all matches.

you can use the stock rockers. upgrading to stronger pushods is a great idea. the more spring pressure and rpms, the more the pushrod will flex. you lose lift and a little duration at a given lift when this happens. the less flex, the more you get out of the cam. and this is where using higher ratio rocker arms versus bigger cam lobes become a benefit. same goes for rockers flexing. but the LSx designed rockers are much better than the earlier first design rockers.

they are similiar, yes. vinci supplied all the test vehicles to make the programs with. did all the dyno tuning at vinci. i minorly helped them with the speedo calibrations and tire change parameters for the programmer. hell, they even used the wife's 99 formula for one of the vehicles. currently, i'm doing the field testing with the programmer.
