maybe someone can verify this monster ride
that is what I am thinking...
11lbs and a 150 shot, who built your motor and what parts do you have in it??? Just adding octane will not increase performance. You would have to tune to get benefit from it - unless you were knocking like crazy and then added octane and knock was not noticed anymore.

EDIT: I saw you use ls1edit, nevermind This is not all on a stock internals engine is it (other than cam i mean)?

says "stock internals", i don't know if the 5.3's have a weekness compared to the 6.0's but i know a stock 6.0 can take alot of abuse, just have to stay out of detonation. i would think a 5.3 would be able to take the same abuse just not make quite as much power due to a few less cubes.

very nice ET! time for one of you 408/427/forged parts guys to step it up i think.

I was there at Fayetteville Motorsports Park and witness all of the 11 second passes. I have seen this truck progress over the past 4 months or so that I have been following it.......needless to say by his times, this thing MOVES! With the high humidity and high DA last night, noone was expecting to run any crazy numbers. We were all speechless when Ryan ticked his first 11 second pass, which was also his first run of the night. Then he backed it up with a couple more 11 second passes, and topped it off with that 11.74. And to top it all off, he drove it home.

Congrats again Ryan! It was alot of fun, and I cant wait to see that thing running the 1320' with some better air. Also, I am a digital camera *****, and I would love to take some pictures of the truck. Clean her up and send me a private message on HPJ, and I will come take a bunch of pics.

Not do be a toal jerk but i will have to call to this untill I see a slip. You may have very well done this but for someone to just come in here and post a time that no one knows is kinda fishy to me. I mean hell i could have done the same thing. I will retract all of this when I see a slip or another reg in the truck section sees this happen

Congrats on the time. joejoe is gonna be knocking some 11s pretty soon. He finally decided to go internals. He is never around the site anymore though.
