Default CR and Nitrous ?

Would it be "safe" to spray a 200+ shot on an 11.1CR engine? What would be the ideal CR for that amount of spray?

what kind of internal mods does it have? what motor is it by the way? And nitrous loves high compression motors.

427 Darton block, Callies 4" crank, Oliver rods, Diamond nitrous pitons, AFR 225, LG Custom nitrous cam, and 90mm tb/intake.

I was originally going with the 66cc 225's but was advised not to due to the nitrous. Those heads would put me at 12:1.

yeah you have some damn nice pistons and internals so you should be good i know a couple of people spraying that on eagle rods and stuff (they may not be quite as good but you cant say it hasnt worked to far) actually i think he was sprayin 250 but his CR is also 10.5 i think

Take a motor with 9:1 compression, spray nitrous= good power
Take the same motor with 11:1 comp, spray N2O= much more power.
Any motor runs better with more compression will make more power with the right fuel mixture and nitrous. Nitrous is an oxidizer and a temperature decreaser. Because there is more oxygen and cooler temperature, you can burn more fuel. Also, with higher compression, you get higher temperatures,if you can get that temperature down, you can make more power.

Could you explain the use of a larger chamber to achieve lower compression w/ supercharged motors?

Thanks.

Talking

i have been told different things about every time i ask. some say nitrous loves compression. others say it does not due to the small chambers for cpmpression. seems like the smaller the chamber and higher the compression the less of a shot that will be able to be used. but hey maybe someone can answer. as for the chambers and lower compression for fi.-they use a larger cc head and larger valves to be able to push in more and get more air out.
