not that I've given that much thought to selling my truck
for practical reasons, this would be my choice as well.

"Stroked/Rebuilt motor good for 300 shot".
I could handle that, but I personally would have to drop the "Rebuilt". Mine was a built shortblock w/brand new block.

I would pick a 408 over a blower anyday. Personaly I think Forced induction on a stock motor is cheating. Just look at ford, its amazing how boost can make up for a very poor engine design. And I was watching a tv show on the building of the new Ford GT40, I could not belive that they would put a 5.4L with a blower in a car that will cost +$100K.

"There is no replacement for displacement."

Whatever gets my truck moving quicker than stock is legit IMO. Blower, nitrous, 408, turbo, bunch of hampsters in a wheel......it all works towards the same end.

Agreed.....

I just like the FI or nitrous route because of the driveability and gas milage when you are not at WOT. I laugh when people say it is cheating. There is no such hting as cheating. What makes an all motor setup with tons of cubic inches more legit than a small cube motor with a power adder???
