Thumbs up Corsa Rocks

Installed the Corsa Catback & it does exactly what they say. Sounds great when you get on it & it's as quiet as stock on the highway (cruise set on 79).
Haven't really noticed much MPG improvement (maybe cause I like the sound!)
Noticeable power increase? yeah, but it's just a catback.

BTW, that this was extremely easy to install, had it on the lift about 45 minutes & that included taking off the stock parts. Very high quality & no I don't own any Corsa stock.

I loved mine for about a year. Something has come loose in the muffler and it rattles at idle. Corsa will not respond to my questions about replacing, I've even offered to pay for a muffler, just don't want ot pay for entire system again.

No problems with mine for almost 2 years, and 50K miles. Still sounds great, finally getting around to putting headers on this week.

Unhappy

Corsa still does not make an exhaust system for the VHO's!!!!!!!!!!
I spoke with them about 2 months ago and they told me they would have a system for my truck in 2 months. Well........ nothing yet, but they still claim it is in the makes.
I just cannot wait any longer. Though I will wait until they make a kit for my truck.
Then I was going to try Dynatech for the long tubes with cats and there again, they do not make a complete bolt on system for the VHO yet.
Well, I guess it takes time. My cash flow will need a little recooperating anyways.
Hope one of the two make something quick.

Jim

does the stock exhaust setup vary that different from standerd silverados, or even the SS??? i would think it would be the same as a standerd silverado, or the same as a silverado ss. one or the other.

I thought so too, though aparently they just had to make it different than both the SS and regular Silverados. Hangers are placed different, and the VHO has 2 bolt on flanges (one flange per exhaust pipe) between the cats and the muffler.
This sucks.

2 or 3 emails to persons I've found from the website. Nada back. Probably should have called.
